Peak Light

from $695.00

Above pricing is in Canadian Dollars

Bronze Medal in the Exposure One 2025 Black and White Photography Awards - Abstract

After determining the avalanche hazard was too high for my liking, I decided plan B was a hike into Watridge Lake in Kananaskis Country. I fondly remember the journey into Watridge as I experienced for the first time the beauty and softness of winter light, even at what traditionally can be some of the harshest times for light. Excited by this realization, I kept a keen eye open for any intimate moments that nature might provide. As I was crossing Watridge creek, I looked to my left. I immediately fell in love with the light cascading on the exciting ice and snow sculptures along the creek. I quickly set up my shot and captured a few different takes on this moment which was kind enough to stick around.

Only 9 copies of each image will be printed and sold worldwide. Each limited edition fine art print comes signed by the artist with an accompanying certificate of authenticity and a short artist bio and behind the scenes story about Peak Light. Prints come unframed. Frame in print for mock-up purposes only.

Please note: This print may require a fully custom framing job due to the non-traditional proportions of the image.

For additional photos, formatting options, and special requests, please contact me.

Worldwide shipping is included in the price.
