“So glad that I was able to do a portfolio review with Lee Nordbye. Lee's invaluable critique has helped me feel way more confident in pursuing the next phase of my black & white photographic journey. I so appreciate Lee's comments and constructive criticism. Lee also provided a recording of our virtual session and a copy of his slide deck commentary which allows me to easily retrieve his insightful suggestions and apply them to my new images. Participating in one of his workshops is now on my bucket list!”

— Stuart Stein | portfolio review client

"Lee has emerged as an interesting and dynamic speaker on a variety of subjects, and he was a big hit at my annual Land and See conference.   Whether discussing black and white photography or post-processing, Lee was engaging, helpful, and a true professional.  I learned a lot!"

— Dave Brosha | award-winning portrait and landscape photographer; Land and See conference organizer

“Lee provides awesome workshops, I have always been told that if I was serious about photography, that I should invest in education as well as glass. I was not disappointed, Lee is a very good teacher, he makes sure you understand the concepts from a technical side, but far more importantly, from a creative side, he has a passion for what he does and it shows in his work. His humour and great storytelling will make you feel right at home in a wonderful environment. I highly recommend his services, rated above the amount of stars allowed.”

— Mark Burden | workshop participant at Monochrome Magic in the Mountains

“Lee is not just any photographer; he's a trailblazer, carving his own path through the rugged terrain of creativity and capturing the essence of nature's grandeur.”

— Edward Forbes | President of the Calgary Camera Club

Little did I know that this opportunity would catapult me out of the photography slump that I was experiencing, during the tough times of COVID. And that it did.

Lee’s energy, love for the outdoors and black and white photography was contagious and infused me with the exact inspiration I needed.
